Ahmatbekov Musakun (1947), Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (2000), Professor (2002).Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kalinin in the Tian Shan region of Naryn Province. Graduated from KSHI and the Timiryazev Moscow Agricultural Academy (1968), postgraduate studies at KSHI (1975).
Worked as a research fellow at the Kyrgyz Experimental Station for Cotton Growing, served in the Armed Forces, research fellow at the Kyrgyz Breeding Station for Sugar Beet, junior researcher, assistant, deputy dean, head of the training department, associate professor, head of the department, research fellow, associate professor of the Department of Agrochemistry, and since 2000 — Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy at KAA. Specialist in the field of agrochemistry.
Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR (1983). Published over 50 scientific works, including one monograph. Under his supervision, 3 candidate dissertations have been defended.
