After significant batches of counterfeit products were discovered in warehouses in Bishkek, the SCNS initiated a state environmental examination. As a result, a positive report was obtained regarding the methods and locations for the disposal of expired goods.
Methods of ecological disposal approved during the examination:
- Liquid products, such as sauces and oils, will be neutralized using alkalization (dilution with limestone), and then, after laboratory analysis, discharged into the centralized sewage system.
- Plastic and glass containers will be sent for recycling.
- Metal cans will be handed over as scrap metal.
- Packaging and food waste that cannot be recycled will be destroyed by incineration in specialized furnaces or buried in specialized landfills.
The SCNS, together with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, recommends carefully checking your suppliers, especially those offering "exclusive" products at low prices without a complete set of documents. It is advisable to avoid purchases from intermediaries with questionable reputations and to prefer products from legal domestic manufacturers. It is necessary to request laboratory certificates, veterinary and phytosanitary certificates, as well as original import declarations.
