Political consultations were held in Bishkek between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and Qatar

Today, the third round of political consultations took place in Bishkek between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

According to the press service of the foreign ministry, the delegations were headed by Temirbek Erkinov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Dr. Ahmad bin Hassan Al-Hammadi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.

During the meetings, current issues of bilateral relations were discussed, including political, trade-economic, and cultural aspects. The parties also reviewed plans for organizing mutual visits at various levels and discussed the implementation of previously signed agreements, as well as the expansion of the legal framework for cooperation.

The discussion of international and regional agendas proved fruitful, with both sides confirming their readiness to cooperate within organizations such as the UN and OIC.

The parties agreed on the necessity of regularly holding bilateral meetings between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State of Qatar to implement the agreements reached.
