Sacred Springs of Manzhyly-Ata. Anomalous Zones of Kyrgyzstan
The Valley of the Sacred Springs of Manzhyly-Ata
Located on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul, in the Ton Bay. The valley has a rich historical past: petroglyphs from the Stone Age, ruins of medieval structures, and sacred Buddhist inscriptions have been preserved here. The name of the attraction comes from the nickname of a seer who spread Islam among the local population, telling them about the essence and importance of this religion. Today, on one of the hills, there still stands the mausoleum of the great mentor, which serves as a starting point for pilgrims arriving here. The legend of a miracle worker who lived here intertwines with the tale of Mother-Olenikha (Bugu-Ene), who, according to myths, is the progenitor of the Kyrgyz tribe Bugu.
There is an ancient cemetery nearby: near it, you will feel only positive emotions. The respectful attitude and reverence for the place, the mosque built nearby, and the holy springs all contribute to a positive effect.
The valley is a labyrinth of numerous shallow gorges hidden between low hills. Here grow 8 sacred willows, around which the miraculous springs are nestled: 12 main and 5 additional. Each spring has its own name and unique properties. For example, "Manzhyly-Ata" possesses the power of rejuvenation and healing of cardiovascular diseases, while 2 springs of "Bugu-Ene" can heal liver and eye diseases. For knowledge and enlightenment, one can drink from the spring "Ilim," and for nervous disorders, water from "Aziz Bulagy" is recommended. Those wishing to heal from infertility can find help at "Bala," while those dreaming of a strong, healthy family should definitely visit the spring "Family." Mineral deposits and underground waters give the area a unique energy, completing the miraculous image of the valley.
Today, pilgrimages are made to the valley of the sacred springs of Manzhyly-Ata.
Some pilgrims claim to have been healed there: some experienced improved vision, while others were cured of asthma, infertility, allergies... The place is very popular not only among Kyrgyzstanis but also among foreign guests. The valley gained fame as early as the late 17th century: it is mentioned in the epic "Manas" as a sacred place.
Numerous spiritual seekers, psychics, and yoga enthusiasts also come to the valley of the springs of Manzhyly. They all note special sensations and positive energy. Residents of the surrounding villages claim that all dreams come true in Manzhyly.
Researchers call such places natural geo-anomalous zones, where cosmic energy is concentrated.
