In Kyrgyzstan, the work on the establishment of 560 short-term kindergartens has been completed
Additionally, a Tool for assessing early development was developed, which covers children aged 4-5 years and includes a development map, methodological recommendations, and questionnaires for educators, parents, and heads of preschool educational organizations.
The establishment of 560 preschool educational institutions has been completed, including 500 short-term kindergartens and 60 development centers located in various regions of the country.
The system for issuing vouchers for attending preschool institutions has been fully automated. Thanks to special support programs, low-income families and children with disabilities can receive monthly compensations ranging from 2000 to 4560 soms.
In 11 months, 1117 applications for vouchers have been registered, which is 366 more compared to September. A total of 4 million 32 thousand 800 soms has been allocated for the pilot testing of the voucher financing mechanism for preschool education.
A unified registry of all kindergartens in the country, regardless of their ownership form, has been created on the "Balalyk" platform.
The Ministry of Education noted that to optimize the use of sleeping facilities in 570 kindergartens and to create additional groups, 927 million soms have been allocated, which is 254 million more compared to the previous year.
In the republic, 419 new groups have been opened in 358 standard preschool educational institutions, allowing for the enrollment of 10,707 children. In addition to this, new groups have created jobs for 502 educators, 386 assistant educators, and more than 100 specialists, including music directors, methodologists, laundresses, sanitary workers, and technical staff.
