Currently, a forum is taking place in Bishkek dedicated to the launch of a national pilot project and the development of climate financing in the Chatkal district.
The Regional Investment Council is the organizer of this event.
According to the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated September 15, 2023, No. 237, aimed at the innovative development of agriculture, the production of environmentally friendly and export-oriented products, the modernization of irrigation infrastructure, as well as the implementation of the principles of a "green" economy in rural areas, the Chatkal District Administration has developed a comprehensive program for socio-economic development. This program, named "Eco-Chatkal 2030: Man. Nature. Development," was discussed at public and interdepartmental meetings.
The forum is attended by the special representative of the president, Dinara Kemelova, as well as representatives of local self-government, international organizations, various ministries and agencies, foundations, entrepreneurs, and residents of the Chatkal district.
