According to Kyrgyzhydromet, avalanche-prone areas are located on the following roads:
- 121-138 km of the Bishkek—Osh road (Töö-Ashuu pass) and 198-265 km (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
- 55-115 km on the Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alaikuu route;
- 65-75 and 88-101 km of the Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kiya road (Chapchyma pass);
- 0-3 km on the Krasnaya Gorka—Ak-Tash road;
- 292-305 km of the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart road (Dolon pass);
- 201-205, 260-290, and 326-249 km on the Balikchy—Kazarmin—Jalal-Abad route (Kok-Art pass);
- 45-90 km of the Karakol—Enilchek road (Chon-Ashuu pass).
Motorists are advised to maintain a distance of 500 meters when passing through areas where avalanches may occur.
