Storm Warning: From March 15 to 18, snow avalanches may occur in mountainous areas of the roads.

From March 15 to 18, complex weather conditions are forecasted in the mountainous areas of Kyrgyzstan, contributing to the risk of snow avalanches, the formation of snow drifts, as well as ice and snow accumulation. Avalanches may occur on the following sections of roads:

- on the 121-138 km of the Bishkek—Osh road (Töö-Ashuu pass) and on the 198-265 km (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);

- on the 55-115 km of the Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alayku route;

- on the 292-305 km of the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart road (Dolon pass);

- on the 201-205, 260-290, and 326-249 km of the Balykchy—KazarMan—Jalal-Abad route (Kok-Art pass);

- on the 45-90 km of the Karakol—Engilchek highway (Chong-Ashuu pass).

When traveling through avalanche-prone areas, it is important to maintain a safe distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
