The ban applies to transfers in soms
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has extended the existing ban on charging fees for transfers in soms between citizens of the country. This information was announced by representatives of the financial regulator.
The period of this restriction is set from January 1 to December 31, 2026. According to the resolution, commercial banks and payment organizations are not allowed to charge individuals for services related to money transfers in the national currency through mobile applications and internet banking.
It is worth noting that this ban has been in effect since November 2024.
