The second reading of the bill is taking place in the Jogorku Kenesh
Zhanibek Kalkanov, Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, reported that the total cost of reconstructing the wastewater treatment facilities is 8.3 million euros.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is providing 4 million euros in the form of a concessional loan with an annual interest rate of 1% plus the Euribor rate. An additional 3 million euros will be provided as a grant from the EBRD. Furthermore, 1.3 million euros will be an investment grant from the Investment Fund for Central Asia and the European Union.
The Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on International Affairs, Defense, Security, and Migration supported the receipt of these funds in the second reading.
