President of the United States Donald Trump has announced an ambitious plan, under which Washington expects to receive billions, and possibly trillions of dollars from the sale of Venezuelan oil. This was reported by Fox News.
According to Trump, we are talking about significant amounts that could grow from billions to hundreds of billions, and then to trillions of dollars. "We will remain in Venezuela until the country is restored," he added.

He also stated that in one day, the U.S. purchased Venezuelan oil worth $4 billion, emphasizing that this figure will increase.

Trump noted that at the moment, oil is being unloaded from the tanker Marinera, which came under the control of American troops on January 6. However, he declined to comment on whether he had spoken with Vladimir Putin after this incident, stating that he did not want to discuss the matter.
It is worth recalling that on the night of January 3, explosions occurred in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. During a special operation by the U.S. Air Force, former President Nicolás Maduro was captured along with his wife, and they were forcibly taken to one of the prisons in New York.

Former President Maduro has been charged with leading the criminal organization Cartel de los Soles, which is recognized as a terrorist organization in the U.S. Additionally, he is accused of conspiring with Colombian drug cartels involved in the production and transportation of cocaine.

Furthermore, Nicolás Maduro faces charges of trafficking Venezuelan diplomatic passports, providing diplomatic cover for drug traffickers, and using criminal gangs to eliminate competitors.
