South Korea will transfer 100 ambulances to the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan


DK Consultants from South Korea will supply 100 vehicles intended for emergency medical assistance to Uzbekistan. This agreement was reached during a visit by a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Health F. Toshpulotov.

During the discussions, the parties addressed issues of deepening bilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare and implementing new initiatives.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, a memorandum was signed at the meeting for an amount of 7 million US dollars, which provides for the supply of 100 ambulances funded by the company's grant resources. This aims to improve the operation of the 103 service in Uzbekistan.

According to plans, the procurement of these modern vehicles is expected to take place in the first half of 2026.

Additionally, during the meeting, proposals were discussed regarding the transfer of Clinical Hospital No. 7 in Tashkent to management based on public-private partnership and the construction of a new treatment facility at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Endocrinology.

Representatives of the host side noted the positive impact of South Korea's active participation in the transformation of Uzbekistan's healthcare system and expressed readiness for further mutually beneficial cooperation.
