Starting in February, cargo tracking within the EAEU will become mandatory
From February 11, mandatory tracking of cargo transportation using navigation seals will begin in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, as reported by the State Tax Service.
In the first phase, these seals will be used for the transportation of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and tobacco products by road and rail, as well as for goods subject to special economic measures in EAEU countries.
The installation of navigation seals for road transport will be carried out at cargo accounting points located on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border: Chaldybar, Ak-Zhol, Ak-Tilek, Chon-Kapka, and Karkyra. For rail transport, seals will be installed at the stations of Bishkek-1, Alamedin, Rybachye, Kara-Balta, Kainy, Belovodskaya, Shopokovo, Kant, and Tokmak.
The removal of seals for road transport will take place at the cargo destination, while for rail transport, it will occur during the unloading of wagons at designated stations.
