Ministry of Agriculture implements a digital system for registering veterinary drugs

The Veterinary Service for the Development of Animal Husbandry, Pastures, and Feed is developing an Automated Information System (AIS) for the "Registration and Certification of Veterinary Medicines" as part of the digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex.

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, the main task of the new system is to fully automate procedures, starting from the acceptance of applications for the registration of veterinary drugs to the issuance of electronic certificates. This will improve the transparency and efficiency of public service delivery.

Among the processes that will be automated, the following are highlighted:

- electronic acceptance of applications;

- preliminary verification of documentation;

- payment for services via QR code;

- sending electronic applications to laboratories and receiving protocols using electronic digital signatures (EDS);

- decision-making by the director of the Center in electronic format;

- creation of an electronic certificate with an integrated QR code;

- maintenance of a register of registered veterinary drugs;

- launching a module for search and analytics.

This system will ensure the transition of all stages of service provision to an electronic format. Applicants will be able to submit documents online using EDS, track the status of their applications in real-time, and receive automated responses from the Center.

The creation of the system will establish a unified mechanism for electronic document flow between applicants, laboratories, and the Center. Integration of the AIS with other state information systems is also planned, which will expand its functionality in the future.

This system represents a modern and reliable solution for managing veterinary safety in the Kyrgyz Republic.
