In Kyrgyzstan, the implementation of a project to create a unified geoinformation system for accounting and monitoring outbreaks of anthrax, known as the GIS "SUMO," has begun. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

The project is being handled by the State Enterprise "AgroSmart," which operates under the Ministry and aims to improve epizootic surveillance. This will allow for a more prompt response to threats of the spread of dangerous diseases among animals and promote the digitalization of the veterinary sector in Kyrgyzstan.
