According to information voiced by Kubanychbek Isabekov, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service, tax debts and liabilities for insurance contributions that were incurred before the beginning of 2022 will be written off. This issue was discussed on the air of Birinchi Radio.
The Deputy Chairman clarified that changes to the Tax Code were made last year in accordance with a presidential decree.
“The decision to write off debts applies only to those cases where the debt arose before 2022. It is important that no criminal case has been initiated regarding these debts,” noted Kubanychbek Isabekov.
He also added that the possibility of write-offs may extend to other types of debts, including those for which there is already a court decision.
“Even debts for which court decisions have been issued can also be included in the category for write-off,” he reported.
Kubanychbek Isabekov noted that the State Tax Service plans to clarify the application of the new norms on the ground. The agency intends to send a circular to all districts to minimize bureaucratic barriers and ensure strict compliance with the legislation.
In addition, he added that separate decisions have already been made regarding write-offs in several areas, particularly in connection with the export of livestock to Uzbekistan and the purchase of agricultural products without documentation.
