The EEC also reminded that changes to the technical regulations of the Customs Union regarding the safety of perfume and cosmetic products are already in effect.
According to the new provision, declarations of conformity and certificates of state registration issued before the changes come into force retain their legal force until their expiration date. Thus, manufacturers will be able to continue producing their products in the markets of EAEU countries during this transitional period.
It is important to note that the new rules do not apply to indefinite certificates of state registration issued earlier.
The updated regulations have introduced new terms, including "family cosmetics," "products on carriers," and "microbiologically low risk." It is now clearly stated that such products may include, for example, children's diapers with moisturizing cream or jeans treated with anti-cellulite agents.
Definitions and standards concerning products intended for shared use by family members have also been revised. It is now necessary to register products intended for dyeing, lightening, or curling eyelashes and eyebrows, as well as family cosmetics. Requirements for packaging have been tightened, especially for oral hygiene products.
