The expansion of fiscalization in Kyrgyzstan will cover the bath and sauna sector. Choro Seyitov, the First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, announced this at a briefing, noting that this decision is based on the successful completion of a pilot project in other service sectors.

Currently, hotels and restaurants have already transitioned to a pilot fiscalization mode, which has demonstrated impressive results — tax revenues from these establishments have increased.

Previously, the State Tax Service (STS) reported that the average daily revenue of establishments before connecting to the system was at the level of 105.3 thousand soms, and after implementation, it rose to 213.1 thousand soms, which means a doubling of income. This has allowed the government to see the actual turnover of businesses.

Based on the experience gained, the Tax Service is preparing to implement a new accounting system for baths and saunas. Authorities are confident that this sector holds significant potential for increasing budget revenues and more accurately determining income volumes that had previously gone unnoticed.
