He noted that recent trips to China allowed the Kyrgyz side to propose to local businessmen the possibility of establishing production facilities in the republic.
Seitiov also emphasized that high tariffs ranging from 10% to 50% and higher have been imposed on certain goods from China supplied to the USA. Under such conditions, Kyrgyzstan can become an attractive site for relocating production, which will allow for the export of products to markets that were previously supplied directly from China.
Additionally, he added that in 2026, the implementation of the project to create 100 new enterprises will continue. The list of these enterprises has already been approved, and their launch is planned for the upcoming year.
The ministry expects an increase in production volumes in various sectors such as construction, the production of rubber and plastic products, pharmaceuticals, the chemical industry, automotive manufacturing, and light industry. These sectors will be focused on export and the development of deep industrial cooperation.
