In Kyrgyzstan, there is no anticipated shortage of fuel and lubricants, reported the First Deputy Minister of Economy Choro Seiytov at a briefing.

He noted that government agencies are conducting constant monitoring of supply volumes and fuel prices. This is particularly relevant in the lead-up to the spring fieldwork, when it is necessary to provide farmers with everything they need.

Additionally, Seiytov informed that maximum prices for fuel have been established for agricultural producers, which will allow them to purchase it at reasonable rates.

Authorities are also taking external factors into account, including the situation in the Middle East, which may impact global energy markets. Seiytov emphasized that efforts are being made to minimize the possible consequences of crises, including their effects on logistics and prices.

The Russian Federation remains the main supplier of fuel for Kyrgyzstan. As Choro Seiytov noted, quotas have been established between the countries, and the Russian side guarantees the supply of fuel and lubricants to the Kyrgyz market.

“We are confident that throughout the year, the market will be supplied with the necessary volumes of fuel and lubricants,” he stated.
