The First Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, Choro Seyitov, recently announced at a briefing the government's intentions to provide financial assistance to exporters by covering part of their logistics costs.

He noted that in the event of increased transportation costs or significant distances for transportation, the state is ready to take on part of the financial obligations to support the competitiveness of Kyrgyz products in international markets. Special attention will be given to the garment industry.

Seyitov added that in light of the tightening requirements from Russia, businesses need to adapt to the new conditions and switch to fully legal operating schemes.

“All products being transported must be legal, and the processes must be transparent. Existing schemes are no longer relevant. We urge entrepreneurs to operate in accordance with the requirements of importing countries and to legalize their operations,” he emphasized.

Moreover, in addition to the traditional Russian market, active work is underway to expand exports to Middle Eastern countries. Kyrgyzstan is ready to offer high value-added goods that meet international standards and phytosanitary requirements.

This year, a "green corridor" system will be implemented for food products and goods that are prone to rapid spoilage, which will accelerate the turnover of goods. The customs service will also begin the implementation of the "Smart Customs" system and the "Single Window" mechanism.

According to the deputy minister, these innovations will help optimize customs procedures, make them more transparent, and integrate all participants in foreign economic activity into a unified system. Additionally, work continues on the unification of customs legislation within unions for freer movement of goods.
