Employees of the State Tax Service at the "Chon-Kapka" checkpoint discovered tobacco products being imported without excise stamps. This was reported by the agency's press service.
During a raid control, a vehicle was stopped, and in a hidden compartment in the cargo area, cigarettes of the "Oris" brand were found. The total quantity amounted to 950 cartons (or 9,500 packs), and they lacked excise stamps and accompanying documents.
The seized goods and materials related to this case have been transferred to law enforcement agencies for further investigation and necessary actions.
The tax service emphasized that the transportation and sale of tobacco and alcoholic products without excise stamps is a serious violation of the law. The entire country continues efforts to identify the illegal circulation of excise goods.
