By the end of 2025, the volume of foreign trade of the republic amounted to $15.8 billion, which is a decrease of 10.2% compared to the previous period.
The main trading partners of Kyrgyzstan include the following countries:
- China — 31.4%;
- Russia — 24.3%;
- Kazakhstan — 11.8%;
- Uzbekistan — 6.3%.
The EDB reports that over the year, Kyrgyzstan's exports decreased by 1.8 times, primarily due to a reduction in the supply of precious metals abroad, which fell by 3.7 times.
However, imports increased by 3.9%, which was made possible by the growth in the volumes of imported non-precious metals (an increase of 1.6 times) and mineral products (a growth of 21.8%).
