At a press conference held at the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the EEC, Daniyar Imanaliev, shared the results of macroeconomic development of the member countries of the Eurasian "five" for 2025.

According to preliminary forecasts, the overall growth of gross domestic product (GDP) in the EAEU will be 1.7 percent.

The economic growth in 2025 will be supported by sectors such as services, retail trade, construction, mining, and manufacturing. A positive trend in agriculture is also noted.

The volume of trade between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2025 is estimated by the EEC to reach 95 billion dollars.

From January to November 2025, the volume of supplies of food products, textiles, and footwear to the common market of the Union increased by 20 percent, timber and pulp and paper products by 14 percent, and chemical industry products by 2.3 percent, Imanaliev reported.

He also noted that the share of mutual trade in the total foreign trade turnover of the EAEU for January-November 2025 was 20 percent.

According to preliminary data, inflation in the EAEU countries last year slowed to 6.5 percent.
