An important step for Kyrgyz producers: they can now export frozen fruits to the Chinese market. The press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic reports that the General Administration of Customs of China has officially confirmed the registration of local producers.
According to information from the agency, to start supplying products, it is necessary to undergo simplified registration in the GACC (CIFER) system. One of the key advantages for exporters is the absence of the need to obtain a separate quarantine permit, which is usually required for fresh fruits and berries. The list of products allowed for export includes frozen berries such as strawberries and raspberries, as well as cherries, apples, and pears.
The Department of Chemicalization, Protection, and Plant Quarantine will be responsible for the registration of Kyrgyz enterprises. The Ministry intends to support domestic businesses by offering comprehensive consulting at all stages of entering the Chinese market and encourages the acceleration of preparations for export batches.
This step represents a significant opportunity for the country's processing industry, opening new horizons for increasing non-raw material exports and expanding sales geography in China.
