A large-scale inspection of veterinary pharmacies in Kyrgyzstan found no violations
The comprehensive monitoring conducted by specialists from the Veterinary and Phytosanitary Control Service has concluded, covering veterinary pharmacies and stores throughout Kyrgyzstan, including major markets in the capital, Bishkek. The main goal of these raids was to ensure compliance with the norms for the storage and sale of veterinary medications.

The inspection results showed that pharmacy owners strictly adhere to established regulations and standards. The inspection confirmed that the products offered are safe and that the storage conditions for medications meet the necessary requirements. No cases of temperature regime violations or other trading rules were recorded.

Additionally, representatives of the agency focused on educational activities. They held discussions with pharmacy staff, explaining the norms of Kyrgyz legislation and the current requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union in the field of veterinary medicine. Store owners received professional advice on proper documentation and licensing issues.

The relevant department of the Ministry of Agriculture emphasized that such control measures will be conducted on a regular basis. Systematic monitoring of the veterinary drug market is necessary to protect consumers from low-quality products and to ensure epizootic welfare across all regions of the republic.
