At the checkpoints "Ak-Tilek - Automobile" and "Ken-Bulun," long lines of trucks are once again being observed, as reported by truck drivers to Kaktus.media.

The traffic jam situation has persisted for a week and affects all vehicles, regardless of their country of registration.

According to the drivers, "perishable goods are allowed to pass out of turn, and colleagues often cooperate, while others are forced to wait for several days. Problems arise specifically at the border with Kazakhstan, while crossing the Kyrgyz border goes smoothly," they noted.

Confirmation of the multi-kilometer traffic jams can be seen in the video. Igor Golubev, Deputy Chairman of the Association of International Freight Carriers, informed Kaktus.media that the situation has worsened due to increased control measures by the Border Service of Kazakhstan.

In turn, the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan explained to Kaktus.media that the increase in cargo flow, especially agricultural products exported from Kyrgyzstan, is typical for the spring season and is the reason for the accumulation of vehicles at the Kyrgyz-Kazakh section of the border.

As of now, there have been no comments from the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan.
