Important news: Kazakhstan is launching an electronic queue system at two checkpoints on the border with Kyrgyzstan. This is reported by the Committee for State Revenues of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The system, called CarGoRuqsat, will start functioning on January 30 at the "Kegen" checkpoint and on February 16 at the "Kordai" checkpoint.

This initiative aims to digitize the operations of automobile checkpoints, which will speed up the border crossing process and reduce administrative barriers for freight carriers.

The electronic queue CarGoRuqsat is being implemented in phases along the entire border perimeter. To date, it is already successfully operating at border points with China, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan.

Thanks to the ability to book a queue in advance, carriers can plan their border crossing times, which reduces the likelihood of traffic jams and makes the process more transparent, the agency reports.

The system is integrated with 18 different information resources of government agencies. This allows freight carriers to obtain information about potential fines, debts, and necessary permits before arriving at the checkpoint.

The system can be accessed through the web version or the CarGoRuqsat mobile application. To use it, one needs to specify the checkpoint, date and time of passage, as well as the driver's and vehicle's details.
