
According to the information from the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, a price monitoring of key food products in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Russia has been conducted.
As reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, as of March 25, 2026, specialists studied the prices of various types of goods, including bakery products, dairy products, meat, vegetables, eggs, and sugar.
Kyrgyzstan
In Kyrgyzstan, there is a moderate increase in prices for essential products. For example, the price of eggs has increased by 1.6%, sunflower oil by 1%, and potatoes by 0.7%. Beef and lamb (excluding meat cuts) have risen in price by an average of 0.5%. At the same time, a positive trend has been noted in the decrease in prices for onions, which have become cheaper by 0.5%.
Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan has seen a more significant increase in the prices of meat and vegetable products. For instance, the price of lamb has risen by 12.5%, and carrots by 10.6%. Additionally, price increases have affected pasta (3.5%), beef (3.2%), and pasteurized milk (1.4%). Minor price increases have been recorded for eggs, rice, and potatoes. A decrease in prices has been observed for onions (1.5%) and local first-grade wheat flour (0.8%).
Russia
In Russia, during the reporting period, there was a noticeable increase in the price of carrots by 2%, and eggs became more expensive by 1.4%. For other products, such as beef, lamb, sugar, and sunflower oil, prices have risen between 0.2% and 0.6%. Rice and butter have seen slight price increases of 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively. Specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture continue to closely monitor the market situation in neighboring countries to ensure food security.
