“Who are these people? They are those who were previously detained in major corruption cases and, by court decision, transferred significant amounts or property to the state budget. They are also those whose shadow schemes have been dismantled, and they have lost their sources of income. Some of them hold positions and act out of revenge, pursuing their own interests. These are disgruntled individuals seeking personal gain,” the president commented. He also mentioned a recent meeting with one such individual: “We told him: ‘Almazbek Atambayev didn’t call you a “jackal” and a “vulture” for nothing. Live peacefully, take care of your grandchildren, and stay at home.’ But this person still hasn’t changed. They are once again trying to raise old issues related to houses built by companies like ‘KG Group’ and ‘Ikhsan,’ presenting them as substandard. We are on the path to completing these projects: we are legalizing the buildings and connecting them to electricity. However, it will take time to resolve the remaining issues. Everything will be done,” he added.
Japarov also urged citizens not to hope for chaos and confirmed that coups will not happen.
“Firstly, we will not allow the possibility of a coup. Secondly, the weak state that existed before no longer exists. Now we have a strong state. Thirdly, the people already understand whom to support and who should be in power. Coups will only happen in dreams. Looting, robberies, and greed for profit should remain only in your fantasies,” the president concluded.
