Member of the Central Election Commission Abdyjapar Bekmatov stated that candidates with legal violations will not be able to receive a mandate, even if they are elected.

He emphasized that the legislation strictly regulates election campaigning. In particular, all such activities must be completed one day before the elections.

“On November 29, campaigning on social media, as well as all calls, will cease. Posters and banners installed earlier will remain in place, and videos on LED screens will be turned off,” he noted.

Bekmatov also added that district election commissions and relevant expert groups will conduct active monitoring. Inspections will continue on the day of voting and the following day.

“If violations are recorded on the part of the candidate or their supporters, even in the case of their election, registration will be canceled. In addition, legal sanctions will be applied,” he concluded.
