Kanybek Dosmambetov has become the new Minister of Health, and he lacks experience in this field, which sets him apart from his predecessors. Previously, he held the position of one of the leaders of the anti-corruption service of the GKNB and at the time of his appointment was heading the GKNB department in the Jalal-Abad region. This was reported by Daiyrbek Orunbekov, head of the press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The healthcare sector now also needs large-scale changes and reforms. In this regard, Kanybek Dosmambetov was appointed as minister, who has established himself as an effective reformer and manager.
Some experts express doubts, asking, "How can he lead healthcare if he is not a doctor?" However, his deputies will be highly qualified specialists with extensive experience in this field. In his new position, Dosmambetov intends to focus on eradicating corrupt practices in healthcare and restoring order.
Clannishness and internal conflicts within the healthcare system pose significant obstacles. Practice shows that a person from within the system is unable to effect change, as this requires protecting the interests of certain groups and hinders radical reforms. Therefore, it can be hoped that the new minister, who is not affiliated with any groups and does not tolerate corruption, will be able to restore order in this area.
Soon, the results of his reforms will be felt by the people themselves.
