On December 2, Bishkek hosted the final event dedicated to the results of the "Digital CASA - Kyrgyz Republic" project. According to the Ministry of Digitalization, the main goal of the meeting was to summarize the project, present significant achievements in the field of digital infrastructure, and discuss future plans for the digital transformation of the country.
During the implementation of the project, several key results were achieved:
- Digital communication. Over 3,500 kilometers of fiber-optic cable were laid, which allowed for the connection of more than 3,800 social facilities and improved internet access in remote regions.
- Cloud technologies. A state cloud infrastructure, G-Cloud, was created for data processing and storage, and the development of regional data centers and the implementation of intelligent solutions for government agencies began.
- Legal framework. The Digital Code of the Kyrgyz Republic was developed and implemented, which established the legal, organizational, and regulatory foundations for the sustainable development of digital initiatives and the introduction of new technologies.
