During the official visit to Russia, the head of the presidential administration and the chairman of the cabinet of ministers, Adylbek Kasymaiev, participated in an international conference dedicated to scientific and technological cooperation, as reported by the government press service.
Together with the prime ministers of the member and observer countries of the EAEU, he visited a museum located in the "Atom" pavilion at VDNH, which is the largest educational center dedicated to the atomic industry.
The museum's exhibits demonstrate the development of nuclear energy — from the beginning of the Soviet atomic program to modern achievements in this field.
After that, Kasymaiev participated in an international conference on scientific and technological issues held in the same exhibition complex.
The event showcased various gas and liquid purification systems to enhance environmental safety and efficiency, as well as robotic technologies for the safe sorting and documentation of radioactive waste, the development of new materials and components for lasers, optoelectronics, and medicine, as well as environmentally friendly insecticides based on spider venom toxins for protecting plants from pests. Participants also discussed the creation of a scientific network and presented presentations on access to radiation facilities.
