In the villages of Soku-Tash and Ak-Terek, which are part of the Kyzyl-Tuuy Ayil District of the Suzak region, more than 60 households reported issues with receiving television channels from Kyrgyzstan. Local residents shared their concerns about this matter.

Saidilla Shamsiyev, a resident of Soku-Tash, stated that his television has not been working for 6-7 months. During this time, he has replaced the antenna three times, hoping to restore the signal. The last purchase, a more expensive antenna, did not yield results. "Last year, the channels would work intermittently, but now the signal has completely disappeared. We have already tried to re-tune the television and even climbed onto the roof, but to no avail. Previously, all the houses received the signal, but now almost the entire village is without television," he noted.

Toktogul Mamatkulov, a resident of another village, said that due to the lack of television channels, they were unable to watch the People's Kurultai. "I learned about its holding while I was in the city with my son, through the news. We didn't even know it was happening, although delegates had been chosen. We found ourselves in informational isolation, like Zardala. Televisions only work in those houses where the signal is good," he added. Mamatkulov called for the installation of a repeater, as the problem is systemic.

At a meeting with the presidential envoy in the Jalal-Abad region, the issue of the absence of television channels had already been discussed. Communication specialists visited one of the houses and restored reception, indicating the need to replace antennas. However, despite the recommendations, many residents purchased similar antennas again, but the problem remained unresolved. Sapargul Mamatova from Soku-Tash stated that their attempt to install a new antenna did not help.

The situation also concerns 90-year-old Ismailova from the village of Turganbu. "They say the country is moving forward, but we have no water, no roads, and now television is gone. I often asked my children to replace the antenna. At my age, it's difficult to use a phone, and the television was my only entertainment. We haven't watched television for three years," she said.

Residents report that the problem affects the entire village. In Soku-Tash, out of 60 households, more than 40 cannot watch television. Some, having lost hope, have removed their televisions. In Ak-Terek, about 20 households are also without television.
In this regard, the villagers have once again appealed to the presidential envoy, the district akim, and the ayil okmotu for assistance in resolving this issue.
