The village of Üch-Emchek, located in the Talas region, was founded in 1929-1930, according to local residents.

According to them, the name of the village is related to the hills in the north that resemble three female breasts (üch - three, emchek - breasts).

Among the locals, there is another interpretation of the name. One of the legends speaks of three rivers — Özgörüş, Örnök, and Kuuğandy, which, when viewed from the mountain, appear as valleys. This is what gave the village its name Üch-Emchek.

The village is located 42 kilometers from the village of Kok-Oy, which is the center of the region, and 143 kilometers from the railway station "Maymak." The main activities of the local residents are livestock breeding and agriculture.

In Üch-Emchek, there is a school, a kindergarten, a club, a library, a health post, a museum, a mosque, and a mini-football field. The village has more than 470 houses.

Among the natives of the village, many notable figures can be highlighted, such as historian and politician Orozaliyev Kerimkul, writer Kasym Kaimov, the national poet of Kyrgyzstan Suyunbay Eraliyev, Heroes of Socialist Labor Sharshen Nazaraliev and Mambetsaly Tazabekov, as well as artist Zhanibek Rai.
