In 2026, a visit by the Chairman of China, Xi Jinping, to Kyrgyzstan is expected, as reported at a press conference by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, summarizing the results of 2025.
According to him, Kyrgyz-Chinese relations deserve a high rating, scoring 11 points out of a possible 10. In 2024-2025, there were many high-profile meetings, including the state visit of President Sadyr Japarov to China.
“The fruitful year of 2025 laid the foundation for active cooperation, and we have already begun preparations for the visit of the Chairman of the People's Republic of China to Kyrgyzstan in 2026. The agenda for the upcoming meeting will be extensive,” emphasized Jeenbek Kulubaev.
