Marat Nuraliev, who previously held the position of ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Qatar, was dismissed due to violations of ethical norms related to public service. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, at a press conference dedicated to the results of 2025.
The minister noted that despite Nuraliev's positive achievements as a diplomat, violations of ethical standards influenced the decision to dismiss him.
“Although Marat Nuraliev demonstrated good results in his work, he did not adhere to the ethical norms of public service. Therefore, we were forced to submit a petition for his removal from office. In the future, we will pay special attention to compliance with ethical standards when appointing to diplomatic positions,” emphasized Kulubaev.
It is worth noting that Nuraliev had headed the embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Qatar since December 2023. The decree on his dismissal was signed by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, in accordance with paragraph 4 of part 6 of article 70 and article 71 of the country's Constitution.
