In 2025, Kyrgyzstan significantly increased its diplomatic presence on the international stage. The opening of the first embassy in Ethiopia was an important moment for strengthening ties with the African continent.
At a press conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, also announced plans to establish an embassy in Egypt. This decision opens new strategic opportunities for Kyrgyzstan in North Africa and the Middle East.
“In 2025, Kyrgyzstan established diplomatic relations with 13 new countries. Currently, the Republic maintains diplomatic relations with 185 countries around the world,” the minister emphasized.
