According to local authorities, the mayor of the city visited this educational institution and got acquainted with its operations. During a meeting with the teaching staff, the necessity of updating the learning conditions was emphasized. In this regard, the relevant services were instructed to organize a complete overhaul of the school building.
As noted by one of the school employees, during Soviet times, up to 900 children studied here, while currently, there are only 351. The institution employs 79 teachers, and the area of the school is 600 square meters.
The municipal authorities clarified that the music school is located at: 315 Alymbek-datka Street. According to data from 1997, the total area of the building was 1385 square meters.
It was also revealed that in 1998, the territorial management of the State Property Fund for the Osh region sold 212 square meters on the first floor of the school to a citizen, Zamira Mamyrava, and this part is now privately owned.
In 2000, the city administration of Osh decided to allocate another 306 square meters of land into private ownership.
Currently, there is a building on this plot that is leased by the JSC "Eurasian Savings Bank." The mayor, Zhenishbek Toktorbaev, visited the bank branch and found out who the tenant is. It turned out to be Zamira Mamyrava.
The head of the administration instructed to examine the documents and prepare materials for a legal appeal. "There are not enough schools for children, and in this area, there is a store and a bank. We need to meet with the owner and discuss the situation," he said.
