In Kyrgyzstan, new educational complexes for 7th grades are being adapted

The third meeting of the Supervisory Board took place at the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education as part of the project "Sector Development Project: Reforming School Education." This was reported in the official press release of the ministry.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers of Education: Nadira Jusupbekova, Lira Samykbaeva, and Albert Makhmetkulov, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations, heads of various departments and subordinate organizations, as well as participants from universities and general education schools.

During the discussion, key aspects of the project's implementation were considered. Participants listened to a report on the current status of the project policy matrix concerning the second tranche, presented by the coordinator in the field of educational policy.

One of the central themes of the meeting was the results of the implementation of the main components of the project. In particular, they discussed:

the adaptation of educational and methodological complexes for the subjects "Mathematics" and "Natural Sciences" for the 7th grade and recommendations for their practical implementation;

efforts to harmonize teacher education with modern school requirements, including technological solutions and updating program standards;

an analysis of the current state of specialized training in senior classes.

As a result of the discussions, the Supervisory Board adopted a number of decisions and recommendations aimed at effectively advancing reforms in the field of school education.

This project is being implemented by the Ministry of Education with the support of the Asian Development Bank and aims to achieve long-term strategic goals in the country's education system.
