In a car accident, the deputy kazy of Talas region, Rysbek Kokumov, has died.

As a result of a road accident, Rysbek Kokumov, who held the position of deputy qazi of the Talas region, tragically passed away.

According to the qaziat of the Talas region, Rysbek Kokumov, appointed to his position on November 1, 2024, died in intensive care following an incident that occurred on February 12.

Turmush reports that around 10:00 AM, an accident took place on the Tashkent—Talas—Suusamyr road (on the Ak-Kalpak section between Talas and the village of Ken-Aral in the Bakai-Ata district).

Preliminary data indicates that the driver of a "Chevrolet Cobalt," traveling west, lost control while overtaking on a slippery road, leading to a collision with a "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter" minibus.

As a result of the collision, two people, one from each vehicle, sustained serious injuries and were taken to intensive care. It is presumed that the "Chevrolet Cobalt" was used as an official vehicle.

Information about the accident has been confirmed by the Traffic Police Department of the Talas region; the official vehicle belongs to the qaziat.

Rysbek Kokumov was born on January 31, 1980, in the Bakai-Ata district of the Talas region.

- 2014–2017 - Islamic University of Kyrgyzstan;

- 2019 - completed training at the training center of LLC "Erkin OPK";

- also studied in the 3rd year at Talas State University.

Professional activity:

- 2010–2019 - Imam-Khatib of the village of Kyrgyzstan in the Bakai-Ata district;

- 2021–2023 - Chief Imam-Khatib of Talas city;

- 2023–2024 - Specialist in mosques and madrasahs at the qaziat of the Talas region;

- since November 1, 2024 - Deputy qazi of the Talas region.

Rysbek is survived by his wife and three daughters.
