In Bishkek, officers from the Drug Control Service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate have stopped a case of illegal drug trafficking.
Operatives of the Drug Control Service received important information and successfully acted on it. During a special operation, an 18-year-old citizen, D.G., voluntarily handed over a syringe containing a liquid with a characteristic smell of hashish oil, weighing 12.98 grams. An examination confirmed that the seized substance is cannabis oil, with a net weight of 5.86 grams without packaging.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of drugs and psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale.
During the investigative actions, D.G. indicated that he had purchased the drug from an acquaintance known as "Alexey." As a result of operational activities, the identity of this person was established — A.L., born in 1994.
The investigation found that the suspects had equipped an apartment as a laboratory for the illegal production of drugs, effectively creating a den for their manufacture and distribution.
During an urgent search at the specified address, substances with a characteristic smell of cannabis were discovered and seized, including:
- cannabis oil weighing 3 kg 739 g;
- tobacco with the addition of a narcotic substance — 2.33 g;
- tobacco products with signs of cannabis — 293 g.
During the investigation, a Telegram channel was also identified and shut down, through which the suspects were conducting illegal drug sales. Currently, both suspects are in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.
The Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek urges citizens to be vigilant and report any facts of illegal drug trafficking to law enforcement agencies.
