— The abolition of all American military bases located in the Persian Gulf region;
— The introduction of a new order for shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, allowing Iran to charge fees for passing vessels;
— The lifting of all sanctions imposed against Iran;
— Guarantees from Washington that military actions will not be resumed;
— The cessation of Israeli attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon;
— A complete halt to negotiations on the possible limitation, let alone the elimination, of Iran's missile program.
As reported by Al Jazeera, there are concerns in Israel regarding Trump's recent statements about peace negotiations.
Netanyahu understands that Trump will act in Israel's interests, but the country also emphasizes issues that are important to them.
In closed discussions, Israeli officials believe that Trump is interested in an agreement, but they are worried about the extent of his willingness to make compromises. Israel fears that the proposed 15-point plan from the U.S. could become the basis for future negotiations and a possible month-long ceasefire.
One of the key issues for Israel is the fate of 450 kg of uranium enriched to 60%. The question is whether it will be transferred to a third country or the IAEA. The ballistic missile program also needs to be discussed: will Iran be able to stop producing new missiles and threatening Israel's security? Will Iran be able to resume the uranium enrichment process?
Israel is actively intervening in these matters, hoping to gain more time to strike Iranian targets before a deal is reached.
