Classes are conducted by Professor Igor Viktorovich Pershukov, the head of the department and Doctor of Medical Sciences. He has significant experience in scientific and editorial work and is a member of the editorial boards of several peer-reviewed medical journals indexed in international databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science.
Meetings of the circle take place at several clinical bases of the NOPK JAGU, the number of which increased in 2025.
The topics of the meetings cover the organization of research, implementation of clinical protocols, fundamentals of probability theory and medical statistics, as well as critical analysis of contemporary scientific articles from peer-reviewed medical publications.
Participants study materials, identify errors and inconsistencies in scientific publications, and discuss common and rare mistakes made by authors. The program of the circle includes about ten clinical and scientific specialties.
