Citizens performing Hajj are being vaccinated against meningitis and influenza











The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic has initiated a vaccination program for citizens planning to perform Hajj in 2026. This was reported by the ministry's press service.

According to the new decree, pilgrims will be provided with mandatory vaccination against meningococcal infection as well as seasonal influenza. These measures comply with international standards and are a necessary condition for participation in Hajj.

The vaccination process will take place from December 23 to 30, 2025, in medical institutions across the country and will include a mandatory preliminary medical examination. Immunization will be carried out in accordance with all safety norms and infection control regulations.

Vaccination locations for pilgrims of Hajj 2026

All medical institutions participating in the vaccination are equipped with the necessary vaccines and consumables. After the vaccination is completed, each pilgrim will be issued a vaccination certificate, and the information will be entered into the electronic accounting system.

The Ministry of Health urges citizens planning to perform Hajj in 2026 to undergo medical examination and vaccination within the established deadlines. "These measures are extremely important for protecting the health of pilgrims and preventing the spread of infections within the country," the statement emphasizes.
