The Center offers a wide range of rehabilitation services that are available free of charge:
- medical rehabilitation, including physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise (TE), paraffin therapy, massage, and dental services (treatment and denture fitting);
- medical-technical support: preparation for prosthetics and adaptation to prosthetic devices;
- psychological services;
- social and labor rehabilitation: training in sewing on sewing machines, bead weaving, drawing, and computer literacy;
- social and cultural rehabilitation: organization of events in which patients of the center actively participate.
To use the services, the following document package must be prepared:
- referral from the Family Medicine Center, General Practice Center, Medical-Social Expert Commission, or the Republican Institution for Prosthetic and Orthopedic Products, stationary social institution;
- passport;
- copy of the disability certificate from the MSEC;
- results of fluorography, general blood test, and urinalysis;
- individual rehabilitation and habilitation program for the disabled (IRP).
Patients are accommodated in wards, receive three hot meals a day, and have access to recreation areas, televisions, board games, a library, and a computer class.
The length of stay at the center varies from 10 to 20 days. In the case of rehabilitation with prosthetics, it may take from 15 to 35 working days, depending on the complexity of the prosthetic device and the adaptation period.
Persons with first-group disabilities who need assistance with primary prosthetics are accommodated along with their companions, who are also provided with a bed and meals.
Upon discharge of patients from remote regions, a one-way travel allowance is provided once a year for road transport (excluding taxis).
Since the beginning of this year, 855 people have undergone rehabilitation.
