According to the proposal, it is planned to merge the Republican Institution for Prosthetic and Orthopedic Products and the Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities, which are under the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a result of this merger, a new institution will be created — the Republican Institution for Prosthetic and Orthopedic Products and Restorative Rehabilitation for People with Disabilities.
According to the justification for the project, the main goal of this initiative is to optimize the management of state structures, reduce duplicative functions, and simplify procedures. During the reorganization, it is planned to reduce the number of administrative and service positions, while specialists with the necessary knowledge and experience will retain their jobs.
In the new institution, 201.5 staff positions will be created. After optimization, the payroll fund will decrease by almost 33,000 soms per month. The project does not foresee additional expenses from the republican budget.
