The implementation of modern diagnostic technologies continues at the National Center for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood. This became known from a statement by the Ministry of Health.

Recently, an endoscopic ultrasound examination (EUS) was conducted, in which the Deputy Minister of Health Bakytbek Kadyraliev participated.

A submucosal formation was detected during the examination of the lower third of the esophagus in a 53-year-old patient. The results of the EUS showed that this formation has a benign cystic structure, and no signs of an oncological process were found. The patient has been assigned dynamic observation, and in case of an increase in the formation, minimally invasive removal via endoscopy may be possible without the need for surgical incisions.

The NCOMID now diagnoses gastrointestinal diseases at early stages
It should be noted that endoscopic ultrasound examination is a highly effective method that combines the capabilities of endoscopy and ultrasound examination. This technology allows for a detailed assessment of the condition of the walls of the gastrointestinal tract and surrounding tissues, as well as the detection of neoplasms at early stages, which is critically important for the timely diagnosis of oncological diseases.
