The company MonBeef is implementing a cluster model in the agricultural sector, bringing innovations to meat processing.
At the farm in the Orkhon somon, located in the Selenge aimag, MonBeef feeds calves aged 18 to 36 months and three-year-old cows for 100 days, providing them with special feeds and constant veterinary supervision to offer consumers quality beef.
The company is actively developing intensive livestock farming, cultivating more than 1600 hectares of its 3000 hectares of land for growing feed crops, which allows it to fully supply the animals with grass and feed, using a grass feeding system for 100 days.
Cluster Business Model
MonBeef has developed an integrated cluster system that encompasses agriculture, farms, meat processing enterprises, and distribution channels, allowing for innovations in the meat sector.
In this regard, it is expected that a new meat processing plant will begin operations in Darkhan in the fall of 2025. This proximity of the farm and processing plant will ensure:
stable income for farmers,
reliable livestock procurement,
creation of new jobs in the region,
opportunities for coordinated development of agriculture and livestock farming.
Waste-Free Production Solutions
The new meat processing plant will be equipped with modern equipment for drying blood and animal waste, as well as its own processing facilities. The MonBeef plant, which cleans up to 70 m³ of wastewater and pollutants daily, aims for zero waste. This modern and environmentally safe production complies with international standards and is capable of processing up to 6 tons of meat per day, producing over 2000 tons of products annually.
MonBeef strives to provide its customers with a variety of beef that meets high-quality standards for both home consumption and business.
